How Vermonters Pay to Drive
Every time Vermonters fill up at the pump, a portion of the price—known as the gas tax—goes directly to maintaining and improving our roads, bridges, and transportation infrastructure. There are also fees on electric vehicles that pay for EV infrastructure.
